Day 1: Arrival in Leh – Acclimatization & Leisure

Arrive at Leh Airport and transfer to your hotel. Spend the day relaxing to adjust to the high altitude. In the evening, if feeling well, visit Shanti Stupa for sunset views and Leh Market for a gentle stroll. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 2: Leh Local Sightseeing

Drive over the mighty Khardung La Pass (world’s highest motorable road at 5,359 m) to reach Nubra Valley. En route, enjoy panoramic mountain views. Upon arrival, visit Diskit Monastery and later take a family camel ride at Hunder Sand Dunes. Overnight in Nubra Valley camp or guesthouse.

Day 5: Nubra Valley to Leh

After breakfast, drive back to Leh via Khardung La, stopping for photos along the way. Reach Leh by afternoon and spend your evening at leisure. Try local food or relax at your hotel. Overnight in Leh.

Day 6: Leh to Pangong Lake via Chang La Pass

Set out early for a breathtaking drive to Pangong Lake, crossing the high-altitude Chang La Pass. On arrival, enjoy the stunning blue waters and dramatic scenery. Families can relax by the lake or enjoy a peaceful walk. Overnight stay in a deluxe tent or cottage near the lake.

Day 7: Pangong Lake to Leh via Hemis & Thiksey Monasteries

After watching sunrise over the lake, return to Leh. En route, stop at Hemis Monastery, the largest in Ladakh, and explore the hilltop Thiksey Monastery. You can also visit Shey Palace, the former royal residence. Reach Leh by evening. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 8: Departure from Leh

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Leh Airport for your return flight, ending your memorable family adventure in Ladakh.
