Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Sydney – Urban Wild Begins
Arrive at Sydney International Airport where your adventure kicks off. After hotel check-in, begin with an orientation walk through Circular Quay, taking in views of the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Visit the Royal Botanic Garden and spot cockatoos and flying foxes in their natural urban habitat. In the evening, head to Darling Harbour for optional dining at wildlife-themed restaurants or an early rest before the wild days ahead.

 

Day 2: Blue Mountains National Park – Wilderness and Wildlife
Post breakfast, embark on a full-day guided tour to the UNESCO-listed Blue Mountains. Enjoy bushwalks through eucalyptus forests, see the famous Three Sisters rock formation, and ride the Scenic Railway at Scenic World. Keep an eye out for kangaroos and lyrebirds in the wild. Stop at a wildlife park en route to hand-feed wallabies and cuddle a koala. Return to Sydney for overnight stay.

 

Day 3: Sydney to Cairns – Gateway to the Tropics
After breakfast, check out and fly to Cairns – the tropical hub of Far North Queensland. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and relax. In the evening, take a sunset stroll along the Esplanade Boardwalk and explore the local Night Market. Optional: Dine on fresh-caught seafood while watching fruit bats fly overhead.

 

Day 4: Daintree Rainforest & Cape Tribulation Adventure
Today, dive deep into the world’s oldest tropical rainforest – Daintree. A full-day guided tour takes you through lush jungle, past ancient ferns, and into crocodile territory. Cruise the Daintree River to spot saltwater crocs and exotic birds. Walk along Cape Tribulation Beach where the rainforest meets the reef. Enjoy lunch in the heart of the forest before returning to Cairns. Overnight stay.

 

Day 5: Great Barrier Reef – Underwater Wilderness
After breakfast, set out on a full-day reef adventure aboard a luxury catamaran. Snorkel or dive in the vibrant coral gardens of the Great Barrier Reef, teeming with marine life like clownfish, turtles, and reef sharks. Learn about coral conservation from marine biologists on board. Buffet lunch served on the boat. Return to Cairns by evening and unwind at your hotel.

 

Day 6: Kuranda Rainforest Experience & Skyrail
Today, explore the rainforest village of Kuranda. Take the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway above the treetops with panoramic views of Barron Gorge National Park. In Kuranda, visit the Butterfly Sanctuary and explore local markets. Return via the scenic Kuranda Railway, an engineering marvel that winds through waterfalls and forest. Optional visit to Rainforestation Nature Park to see native wildlife and Aboriginal performances. Overnight in Cairns.

 

Day 7: Cairns to Melbourne – Urban Wildlife & Penguins
Fly to Melbourne, Australia’s cultural capital, and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, head out for the world-famous Phillip Island Penguin Parade. Watch hundreds of Little Penguins emerge from the sea at dusk and waddle across the beach to their burrows – a heartwarming wildlife spectacle. Return to Melbourne for overnight stay.

 

Day 8: Departure from Melbourne
After breakfast, depending on your flight schedule, explore Melbourne’s laneways or Queen Victoria Market for last-minute souvenirs. You’ll be transferred to Melbourne International Airport for your onward journey, wrapping up your unforgettable Wild Australia Adventure filled with unique wildlife encounters and natural wonders.

  • Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner: Meals are usually included and can range from basic camping fare to chef-prepared meals.
